Alina is Head of Global Sustainability & Circular Economy at Siegwerk, global packaging ink & coating producer. With her teams, she drives the transformation towards a sustainable and circular packaging industry inside and outside of Siegwerk. Alina joined Siegwerk beginning of 2020, following her engagement as external consulting lead for the development of circular economy strategy for Siegwerk.

Before joining Siegwerk, worked for SYSTEMIQ, a company driving system change towards sustainable economic systems through consulting, investing, and driving overarching stakeholder platforms. During her time at SYSTEMIQ Alina co-led the Circular Economy Initiative Germany, co-authoring reports and managing the multi-stakeholder process to develop a roadmap towards a circular economy for Germany. Before focusing her professional life on sustainability and strategic transformation, Alina has worked for a private equity owned metal processing company in various roles, preceded by consulting experience with Deloitte on public funding for innovation and investment activities.

Alina holds a B.A. in European Studies from Maastricht University (Netherlands), a LL.M in European and International Business Law from the University of Vienna (Austria) and an Executive MBA (Distinction) from Oxford University (England).
