5 years to 2030: Are current climate commitments doomed?

In line with the Paris Agreement, to limit global warming to 1.5°C, emissions must peak before 2025 and decline 43% by 2030. With only 5 years to 2030, the action to achieve those goals is needed right now. It’s time to ask the difficult questions.

With leaders tiptoeing targets and laggards far behind, are we actually on a path to 1.5? 2? Worse?
When the low hanging fruit is all plucked, are the brands able to keep on track?
