Lieven is Program Manager Sustainable Packaging at Fost Plus, the Belgian PRO for household packaging. He and his team support companies in their transition towards more prevention as well as more reusable and recyclable packaging. He is also responsible for defining eco-modulation in the fee structure, which gives companies the financial incentive to choose more sustainable packaging.
Before he was responsible for the collection, sorting and recycling of household packaging waste in Belgium, as well as the realization of business development projects and the implementation of innovative solutions throughout the packaging value chain.
His expertise across the whole value chain enables him to promote and implement packaging solutions on a large scale.
