Marianne van Keep is CSO at Verstegen. She has worked there for 25 years, and sustainability has always been the most important topic in her career at Verstegen. Within this family business, based in Rotterdam and market leader in the Netherlands, responsibility for future generations is a high priority. This is reflected in 19 sustainability ambitions that, with input from the sustainability team, are designed to become an integral part of the organization and its supply chains. The themes are nature, climate, and people. Verstegen has validated SBTi commitments, is a B Corp and is Ecovadis certified.
Marianne is also chair of the board of Climate Group Europe and a board member of the local SDG organization in her hometown of Oosterhout. She has two children and five grandchildren, and their future is paramount in her choices.
