Axelle joined Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) in September 2023 to lead the global regenerative agriculture strategy and programs. Currently, LDC operates regenerative agriculture field programs across three continents, ranging from smallholder coffee and cotton farmers, to large-scale raw crop estates in North and South Americas.

She previously worked ten years at Danone, four of which as spier heading the Regenerative Agriculture Strategy. Her career also encompasses operational roles in tropical and Mediterranean agricultures’ sustainable transformation, from smallholders multi-cropping subsistence systems to large-scale tropical cropping systems. She has also worked as a freelance consultant, specializing in the implementation of regenerative agriculture at scale in agri-food supply chains, as well as in carbon accounting, forecasting and mitigation pathways in agri-sourcing.

She holds a degree in Agronomical Engineering and two Master’s degrees in Local Rural Development and Tropical Agricultural Systems. In addition to her role at LDC, Axelle is a farmer herself, operating a 11 -hectare regenerative pistachio, pomegranate and hemp farm in the south of France.
