Will recycling end plastics pollution by 2040?

16:00 - 17:00
In the 2024 report, "The Fraud of Plastic Recycling”, the Centre for Climate Integrity alleged that ‘Big Oil’ and the plastics industry had misleadingly promoted recycling as a solution despite ‘long-standing knowledge that plastic recycling is not technically or economically viable at scale’.

In this session, our audience will pick a side and debate: Will recycling end plastics pollution by 2040?
