Brainstorming beyond circular-ish: Systemic changes to eliminate, circulate and regenerate through fashion

09:00 - 10:00
Current production and consumption patterns have driven the planet past six of nine critical environmental thresholds. A circular economy could help reverse these breaches, cutting the need for material extraction by a third. In fashion, however, the reality falls short: only 0.3% of materials are recycled, and intra-industry recycling remains almost non-existent according to the Circularity Gap report.

Day 2 will kick off with a candid discussion of circularity, with everyone invited to actively participate and kickstart our discussions. We’ll ask you, ‘What’s needed to build a circular system that benefits both people and planet?’.

This session will explore the roadmap needed to overhaul the ‘take-make-waste’ model. Industry leaders will share real-world insights from their efforts to tackle the biggest barriers identified by you. Together, we’ll identify actionable strategies that will scale solutions to eliminate waste, circulate resources, and regenerate nature.
