Unlocking finance for Scope 3: What are the opportunities, innovations and blind spots in supply chain finance?

12:00 - 12:30
Many solutions to address Scope 3 emissions are already available. But typically, they require a significant up front investment. The climate transition is expected to cost $125 trillion by 2050, with up $9 trillion needed by 2023 to meet global net-zero goals. Getting investors to unlock financing and incentivise effective action will be key in driving global decarbonisation.

In this session, our investor panel will discuss:

  • How can private finance bridge the gap in climate funding within supply chains, and what mechanisms can incentivise this investment?
  • The role of public-private partnerships and collective financing
  • How companies can build stronger relationships with investors to unlock finance for large-scale sustainability transformation
