Naama Brenner Abramovitch

Recycling Specialist

Napa Recycling

Naama Brenner Abramovitch is a Recycling Specialist at Napa Recycling, where she has worked for the past nine years. Her passion for resource recovery began while earning her master’s degree in Geography, with a concentration in Resource Management and Environmental Planning, at San Francisco State University.

With a decade of experience in the waste and recycling industry, Naama brings a unique perspective spanning hauler operations, materials processing, education and outreach, business assistance, and community engagement. She works closely with businesses, schools, residents, local governments, packaging producers, and industry partners to advance waste reduction and resource recovery.

Naama has developed extensive knowledge of California’s evolving packaging and recycling policies and is actively engaged in conversations around extended producer responsibility, reuse, and the circular economy. She is particularly passionate about connecting policy, outreach, and on the ground operations, and developing practical solutions that improve recycling, waste reduction, and resource recovery systems.
