How do we use commercial risk to drive change?

11:30 - 12:00
Failing to act on emissions reductions now isn’t just an environmental risk—it’s a commercial one. Companies that delay investments in decarbonisation may face exponentially higher costs in the future, as the price of offsets could soar, regulatory penalties tighten, and stakeholder expectations grow.

The other side of the coin is just as shiny. The opportunity that decarbonisation can deliver right now is clear. Heightened resilience, lower price volatility, enhanced supplier relationships, security of supply.

Scope 3 isn’t a moral decision. It’s a business decision.

In this session, we’ll assess how to embed long-term thinking around Scope 3 into the business. Particularly in roles that are often incentivised by short-term results. We’ll look at the commercial and business reality of supply chain decarbonisation, and assess how it can be used to accelerate action.
