Sophia Weiss is the Director of Sustainability and Regenerative Agriculture at Grain Millers Inc., one of the largest oat processors in North America. She holds a master’s degree in Agriculture, Food, and Environment from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University and is a registered dietitian. Sophia brings a multidisciplinary lens to her work, bridging agronomy, corporate responsibility, and public health to advance sustainability across the agricultural supply chain. At Grain Millers, she leads the company’s sustainability strategy, including regenerative agriculture programming, facility-level environmental initiatives, carbon accounting, and ESG reporting. She works closely with internal teams and external partners to implement climate-smart practices, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote long-term soil health on farms. Her efforts focus on building transparent and resilient systems that support both environmental outcomes and farmer prosperity.
