Sustainable Apparel and Textiles Conference

29th - 30th April 2026

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Pasquale Coppolella

Consultant | COO and CSO

Independent

A leader in sustainable fashion, he currently serves as Head of Operations and Sustainability at Stella McCartney – the industry’s only combined CSO-COO role. This unique position gives him complete oversight of supply chain and operations, enabling him to drive sustainability as core business strategy rather than separate initiative.
With over 20 years leading operations across luxury brands including Giorgio Armani, Marni, Christian Louboutin, and La Perla, he brings practical expertise in transforming sustainability commitments into operational reality. His approach focuses on measurable results: reducing waste, improving efficiency, and building resilient supply chains that deliver both environmental and commercial value.
Having worked across fashion, industrial, and FMCG sectors in B2B and B2C contexts, he understands the real-world constraints and opportunities facing apparel and textile businesses. His international experience spans strategic consulting at Accenture to interim management and board roles, giving him a comprehensive view of what works – and what doesn’t – in sustainability transformation. A frequent university lecturer on sustainability and management, he often shares operational insights that help others understand how to implement change at scale.
