GHG Protocol, ISO to combine carbon accounting standards

The Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the International Organization for Standardization will work to combine their carbon emissions accounting standards into a single global standard, GHG Protocol announced Wednesday.

The move will consolidate the GHG Protocol’s scope 1, 2 and 3 standards and guidance in its Action and Market Instruments workstream with ISO’s 14064-1 greenhouse gas accounting standard.

 

US sustainable fund flows turn positive for first time since 2022

U.S. sustainable investment fund net flows turned positive for the first time in nearly four years in the second quarter of 2026, according to a new report by investment insights and data provider Morningstar, with investors adding nearly $3 billion, and sustainable fund assets rising to a record of nearly $400 billion.

 

EcoVadis and Novata partner on scope 3 carbon data

The collaboration will integrate EcoVadis supplier emissions metrics directly into Novata’s sustainability management platform. The companies aim to give users more accurate data for Scope 3 accounting and decarbonization planning.
