Sarela Herrada is the co-founder and CEO of SIMPLi, the leading regenerative organic pantry staples brand helping people cook simply, eat well, and feel good. What began as a sourcing-driven mission has evolved into a modern wellness pantry brand bringing nutrient-dense, purpose-led pantry staples into everyday kitchens.

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Sarela grew up immersed in agriculture and food systems before building her career in supply chain leadership at Mayorga Organics, Nike, and CAVA. In 2020, she co-founded SIMPLi and introduced some of the first Regenerative Organic Certified® ingredients from South America to the U.S. market.

Sarela serves on the Board of Directors of the Regenerative Organic Alliance and lives in Philadelphia with her husband and co-founder, Matt Cohen, and their three children.
