Sustainable Apparel and Textiles Conference

29th - 30th April 2026

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Sharon Casement

Product Creation & Textile Systems Specialist | ex-Adidas VP

Sharon Casement is a textile and apparel professional with over 30 years’ experience in global product creation, including 19 years at Adidas. Her experience spans apparel, footwear, and accessories, most recently serving as Vice President of Product Operations, where she led multidisciplinary teams translating design vision into scalable products within complex international supply chains.

With a background in design and marketing, her career includes roles in category direction, providing a complementary perspective on how products are positioned and brought to market. Working within adidas’ established sustainability frameworks, she has been closely engaged in the practical application of more responsible material and product strategies. Combined with hands-on experience in textile manufacturing and conservation in Northern Ireland, and leadership roles across North America, Europe and Asia, this gives her a well-rounded understanding of how materials, manufacturing systems, and consumer demand intersect.

Her focus is on the transition toward more responsible and regenerative textile systems, exploring how fibre selection, product design, and manufacturing practices can evolve to support durability, circular material flows, and reduced reliance on petrochemical-based inputs.
