Lena Peleikis

Head of Human Rights and Responsible Supply Chain

Otto Group

Lena Peleikis is Head of Human Rights & Responsible Supply Chain at Otto Group, where she leads human rights strategy and implementation across one of Europe’s largest retail and e-commerce groups. With nearly a decade at Otto Group, she has progressively built the company’s approach to responsible supply chain management, from social compliance foundations to comprehensive human rights due diligence systems.

Lena’s expertise spans supply chain transparency, worker rights, grievance mechanisms, and stakeholder engagement across complex global manufacturing networks. Her work focuses on translating international human rights frameworks into practical operational systems that protect workers while enabling commercial viability. She has been instrumental in developing Otto Group’s human rights risk assessment methodologies, supplier engagement programs, and remediation strategies across textile and apparel supply chains.

Prior to her current role, Lena served as an advisor to the German Textile Alliance (Bündnis für nachhaltige Textilien) through GIZ, contributing to multi-stakeholder initiatives advancing sustainability in the German textile sector. She brings a systems-oriented approach to supply chain responsibility, focusing on the intersection of business accountability, regulatory compliance, and meaningful impact for workers in the apparel industry.
