Katie O’Hare is the Vice President of Sustainability at J.Crew Group, where she leads sustainability strategy and execution across J.Crew, Madewell, and J.Crew Factory. In this role, she oversees the company’s progress toward goals related to sustainable materials, greenhouse gas reduction, responsible packaging, and Fair Trade commitments.

Katie has built a foundation for long-term progress, embedding sustainability across product design, sourcing, and operations. She has helped the company achieve significant milestones, including sourcing over 60% of materials from sustainable sources, establishing science-based climate targets, and publishing the company’s annual impact report. She also leads J.Crew Group’s efforts to advance transparency in the cotton supply chain, developing a comprehensive traceability strategy and introducing innovative tools to map fiber origins and manage supply chain risk.

Prior to joining J.Crew, Katie drove sustainability initiatives at PVH and ANN INC. She holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business and an MS from the School for Environment and Sustainability, both at the University of Michigan’s Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise, and a BA in Economics from Colgate University.
