Alejandro Castillo Nolte is a sustainability and innovation leader with various years of experience across the textile, industrial, and environmental sectors. He currently serves as Chief Sustainability Officer at Industrias Nettalco S.A., a Peruvian garment manufacturer,  where he leads environmental, social, and governance strategy, certification management, and innovation initiatives across multiple manufacturing operations.

His work focuses on translating sustainability commitments into measurable results, including SBTi-aligned emissions reduction, Higg FEM performance, ZDHC implementation, and circular economy projects such as textile waste valorization. Alejandro has successfully led multidisciplinary teams, coordinated complex audits, and secured external funding for R&D and sustainability-driven projects.

With an engineering background and international experience in Germany and Peru, he brings a pragmatic, systems-oriented approach to sustainability, balancing operational realities with global compliance and stakeholder expectations. He has collaborated with universities, consultants, and international partners to advance environmental performance while strengthening business resilience and credibility.
