Jeannie Renne-Malone leads the global sustainability function at VF Corporation, one of the world’s largest apparel, footwear and accessories companies with a family of outdoor, active and workwear brands, such as The North Face, Timberland, EastPak, Icebreaker, Kipling and Napapijri. At VF Jeannie drives the company’s environmental sustainability strategy, goals and actions. She also oversees development of the annual carbon footprint and sustainability/ESG reporting in response to investor surveys and industry organizations. She leads various strategic sustainability initiatives including setting and tracking progress towards the company’s Science Based Targets, and development of VF’s Green Bond Framework which led to the issuance of the apparel & footwear industry’s first green bond.

Jeannie has over 20 years of experience in sustainable development, technology transfer, renewable energy, climate change, greenhouse gas accounting, green financing, and sustainability/ESG planning and reporting. She has an MA in International Finance and Development from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, a BA in Spanish from the University of Washington, and holds several sustainability certifications.
