Project Manager

Lia oversees the sustainable packaging series at Innovation Forum. As project manager, she curates in-person forums for senior executives and cross-industry experts across geographies, as well as developing published insights and virtual discussions.

In her work, Lia collaborates with actors of change across the packaging value chain, facilitating dialogue on sustainable packaging practices, evolving regulatory landscapes, and strategies for balancing sustainability impact with business needs. She manages the complete cycle of conference production, maintains relationships with partner organisations, speakers and delegates, and develops webinar, audio and published content on packaging sustainability.

Lia is interested in innovative, practical approaches that bridge the gap between sustainability ambitions and tangible change. She brings a background in interdisciplinary research and policy evaluation, focusing on circular economy and just transition, and multilevel governance for sustainable development. In her current work, she focuses on packaging solutions that are circular by design and embed sustainability in operations.

Lia grew up in Italy and studied in the Netherlands and Scotland. She holds a MA in sustainable development from the University of St Andrews.
