House rules

Innovation Forum conferences are designed as a space where everyone contributes. We bring together people from across the industry to share perspectives and work together on practical solutions to the sector’s most pressing challenges. Here’s what defines our approach:

Chatham House rule

All discussions take place under the Chatham House rule — meaning you can use what’s said in the room, but you can’t attribute it to anyone. This encourages more open, honest conversation.

Please note: Whilst photography is allowed, filming and recording are strictly prohibited at the conference.

No lengthy slides or scripted talks

We avoid PowerPoint-heavy presentations and corporate videos. The focus is on direct, unscripted discussion that gets to the point — not polished pitches.

Varied, discussion-driven formats

Sessions include panel discussions, “Solution Hubs” participatory breakouts, closed-door sessions, and focused roundtables. These are designed to encourage participation and push beyond surface-level conversation.

In-person only

This event is exclusively in-person to make space for more genuine conversations and stronger connections, all behind closed doors. Participants have found being in the room builds trust and makes for more open, honest discussion.
