Katrin Ley is the inaugural Managing Director of Fashion for Good, the global platform for collaborative innovation in the fashion industry. At Fashion for Good, she drives the transition towards a circular textile industry by harnessing the power of innovation, practical action & collaboration.

Katrin has more than 25 years of relevant industry experience in fashion, investments and consulting. She joined Fashion for Good in 2017 from Pymwymic, the community of European wealth holders who invest for impact. Prior to that, Katrin was Managing Director with the adidas Group and a Principal with the Boston Consulting Group – with a focus on private equity, consumer goods and technology.

Katrin was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010 and is the founding curator of the Amsterdam Global Shapers Hub. Most recent recognitions include “Woman of the Year 2022” by Harper’s Bazaar and “Top 100 most influential women in German business 2022” issued by Manager Magazin. Her educational background includes studies at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and ESCP Paris and University of Hohenheim.
