Hasan Javed

Director

Artistic Garment Industries (AGI Denim)

Hasan Javed moved back to Pakistan in 2010 after studying and working in the United States, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics with a minor in Business Administration. He joined the family business with a long-term vision of modernizing and scaling it into a globally competitive platform.

Today, Hasan serves as Executive Director at Artistic Garment Industries (AGI Denim), one of Pakistan’s leading exporters and a globally recognized denim manufacturer. He leads the denim mill across management, marketing, R&D, supply chain, and finance, playing a central role in driving operational excellence and strategic growth.

Under his leadership, AGI Denim has undergone significant expansion, strengthening its position as a global denim powerhouse. He was instrumental in making AGI Denim the world’s first end-to-end LEED-certified denim company and in securing B Corp certification. His focus on responsible growth has translated into meaningful investments in renewable energy, water recycling, and advanced manufacturing infrastructure.

Hasan has represented the industry at the World Economic Forum in Davos and has been recognized internationally for his leadership. He has been featured in Vogue Business Innovators, named to the Rivet 50 list, and included in WeAr Magazine’s 100 Most Influential. He is also a member of YPO Pakistan.

Beyond textiles, Hasan maintains a strong interest in financial markets and technology ventures, applying a forward-looking mindset both within AGI Denim and across his broader investment activities.
