Femme van Gils is the Head of Sustainability at Samsøe Samsøe, a Copenhagen-based ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear brand for men and women. Since joining in 2023, she has implemented the brand’s company-wide sustainability strategy, focusing on transparency, traceability, and measurable impact throughout the value chain. With a background in strategy and brand communications, Femme holds a BA in Fashion Branding from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and further studies in Sustainability Business Management. With nearly 8 years in the fashion industry, including 5+ in sustainability, she brings expertise in responsible sourcing, project – and change management. She is committed to driving the fashion industry forward through innovation and collaboration.
