TextileGenesis

Amit Gautam is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of TextileGenesis and serves on the executive committee of Lectra, the global leader in technological solutions for the fashion, automotive, and furniture industries.

In 2020 he launched TextileGenesis, a pioneering SaaS traceability platform that creates a secure, end-to-end digital chain of custody for textiles. By digitizing fibers as Fibercoins™ and embedding certification data, the platform ensures full visibility from fiber to retail and verifiable authenticity of materials and origin. Its leadership in innovation has been recognized globally, including winning the prestigious Global Change Award (GCA).

Previously, Mr. Gautam was Executive Vice President for the global fashion business at Lenzing, Austria’s innovation leader in sustainable materials, where he led global sales, marketing, and commercialization of textile innovations.

He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Bombay.
