Raz Godelnik is an Associate Professor of Strategic Design and Management at Parsons School of Design – The New School in New York. His work explores how businesses can translate climate ambition into real-world change, focusing on sustainable business models, design for 1.5°C lifestyles, and the role companies can play in accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy. Working at the intersection of climate strategy, innovation, and design-led systems change, he develops frameworks that help organizations move from climate commitments to actionable strategies.
He is the author of Rethinking Corporate Sustainability in the Era of Climate Crisis: A Strategic Design Approach (Palgrave Macmillan). His forthcoming book, The New Sustainability Sandbox: Breaking Free from Business as Usual, is expected to be published by Routledge in 2026.
