MIRANDA MORRISON (born 1962) is an English shoe designerEducated at Magdalen College, Oxford in Printmaking and Sculpture, she subsequently studied Accessory Design at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. Best known for partnering with Kari Sigerson, on their eponymous brand Sigerson Morrison. She has also worked for: Steve Madden, Elizabeth & James, Vince Camuto and Tory Burch. Currently VP of Sustainable Product Development for Steve Madden. Her experience of making shoes in Italy, Spain, China, Vietnam, Brazil and Peru gives her a broad overview of the supply chain commonalities and regional nuances. Dedicated to the discussion and implementation of modern, human-based change in the Footwear industry. Particularly focused on emerging bio-polymers for molded products, and pre-competitive collective action to reduce post-industrial waste. Member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, The Footwear Collective, as well as Women in Sustainability.
