Elizabeth Spruell is a visionary leader whose career spans both the financial and agricultural sectors, bringing strategic insight, innovation, and integrity to every role she serves. With a distinguished 22‑year career in banking and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) accreditation, Elizabeth held senior leadership positions where she drove strategic growth through treasury management, fraud reconciliation, mergers and acquisitions, and systems integration initiatives such as Salesforce implementation.
Following the passing of her father in 2021, Elizabeth transitioned full‑time to lead Spruell Farms Partnership, a multi‑generational family farming operation spanning more than 6,000 acres in North Alabama. There, she applied her financial acumen to build a strong management team, adopt advanced agricultural technologies to improve yield and quality outcomes, amid challenging market conditions.
Elizabeth serves on the Cotton Incorporated Board of Directors for the Southeast Region and was elected as the first woman in 125 years to the Alabama Farm Credit Bank Board of Directors, where she contributed on the Audit and Business Investment Committees. Working alongside her children, brother, and mother, Elizabeth continues to honor her family’s farming legacy while championing innovation, sustainability, and leadership across generations.
