Packaging shapes performance across the supply chain, yet decisions are often made in isolation – influenced by procurement priorities, sustainability targets, or operational constraints at different points in the system. This can create misalignment, where packaging performs well in one area but drives inefficiencies or added costs elsewhere.
The regulatory landscape is adding to the challenge; from the Extended Producer Responsibility Schemes and EU’s Packaging and Packaging waste Regulation, businesses are having to address their compliance requirements and to rethink how packaging performs.
Join us for a cross-industry conversation bringing together retailers, manufacturers, and packaging experts to understand how organisations are rethinking packaging as a strategic asset and aligning decisions across functions to show the value of packaging.
- Taking a system-wide view: How packaging decisions at one stage of the supply chain impact cost, efficiency, and waste elsewhere
- Reuse in practice: Where reusable transport packaging delivers value, and the operational realities behind implementation
- Designing for automation: How packaging choices can enable or limit automation across distribution and retail environments
- Responding to regulation: What EPR and PPWR mean for transport packaging, and how businesses are adapting their strategies
