Sean Sayer is the Supply Chain Lead at the International Transport Workers’ Federation’s (ITF). He coordinates the ITF’s social dialogue and multistakeholder engagement with multinational brands and supply chain actors, and leads the development of worker-centred human rights due diligence (HRDD) models to address human rights risks in transport. Since 2015, Sayer has investigated exploitation and human trafficking in the European trucking industry and helped develop a new HRDD approach with the food & beverage sector to address issues in their road transport supply chain. Since 2017, Sayer has been a member of the Transportation Research Board committees on trucking industry research and freight transportation economics. Sayer has a Master of Science in History of International Relations and a Bachelor of Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
