Nicoline van Gerrevink

Nicoline van Gerrevink is Head of Food System Transition at Rabobank Wholesale & Rural. Nicoline has a strong background in structuring financial solutions that are “out of the box” with a background in capital markets and leveraged and structured finance. Within the Food System Transition team, we are focussing on the transition to more regenerative agriculture. We do this by building partnerships with our key Food and Agri clients that have commitments on Regenerative Agriculture. All this with the aim to find new financial solutions to finance the transition. Working with the idea “create a business model for the farmer, and he will follow” the strategy is to stack incentives together with supply chain actors to accelerate the transition. Next to that, the Food System Transition team is seeking to enable Rabobank to green its portfolio by building strategies for the bank on upcoming markets that enable more sustainable and healthy food production.
