Becky Vernon is a Human Rights Manager at ASOS, working across the company’s global operations and leading the development of a new approach to addressing human rights risks in GNFR and indirect supply chains. This role reflects an evolving approach to embedding human rights considerations beyond direct supply chains and across the wider business.
As part of this work, Becky focuses on strengthening meaningful stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with worker representatives and trade unions. This includes initiatives such as ASOS’s global framework agreement with the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), which reflects a broader commitment to social dialogue and worker voice as core elements of effective human rights due diligence.
Becky has worked in the fashion industry for over 15 years, with experience spanning roles in buying, sourcing, auditing, and human rights. Her background includes both commercial and human rights functions, as well as working with a social enterprise supporting businesses across multiple industries to identify and address risks of modern slavery. In addition to working with global supply chains, Becky has experience across GNFR industries and indirect supply chains, bringing a broad, cross-industry perspective on due diligence, risk mitigation and responsible business practices.
