Emilia draws on previous experience in conference production to ensure each event she leads on has a diverse and highly qualified line-up of speakers from companies our network want to hear from. She did this recently, producing our first-ever Critical Minerals Innovation Forum, and now for our Responsible Sourcing and Ethical Trade Forum which touches on many similar themes.
As a project manager, Emilia manages the complete event lifecycle: from initial conception, research, and agenda-writing to collaborating with speakers and delegates from across value chains, marketing, and on-site delivery. She enjoys understanding the needs of an audience, ensuring this translates into the product she creates.
Emilia holds a master’s degree in environment, politics and development and an undergraduate degree in geography. Her interest in sustainability came initially from volunteering projects such as at a zero-waste shop and a local agro-ecological farm. She is a proud British-born Cypriot and loves cooking, travelling, wellness, film photography and playing the guitar.
