The energy transition has seen remarkable growth in renewables, yet fossil fuels still account for ~80% of the global energy mix. Progress is undeniable, but ambition and implementation are clearly out of step.

In this opening session of our series, we’ll take stock of the big picture: what’s working, what’s stalling, and what this means for stability, resilience, affordability, and independence over the long term.
