Zane Valujeva is Head of Impact Strategy & Responsibility at Colorful Standard, the Copenhagen-based brand that has made seasonless, quality wardrobe essentials since 2017. Its collections are made from organic cotton and pre-consumer recycled wool, alongside linen, and produced in Portugal, partly in the brand’s own factory and partly with nearby partners. This close setup gives Colorful Standard direct oversight of quality, working conditions and environmental impact. The brand is a certified B Corp and runs a no-sale model built around durability rather than disposability.
Zane shapes Colorful Standard’s responsibility strategy end to end, from supply chain transparency and impact measurement to preparing the business for upcoming EU regulation. She also defines how responsibility is positioned and communicated across the brand. Her focus is on turning the visibility that owned production provides into credible data and practical decisions across sourcing, product and operations.
Zane brings more than 10 years of international experience in sustainability, communications and business development in the FMCG sector, including consultancy work with startups and SMEs. She works best where commercial strategy, responsible sourcing and environmental impact meet, turning responsibility ambitions into practical results for growing businesses.
