Taimoor Mukaty is the CEO of Liberty Mills, the textiles division of Liberty Group, a $650 million Pakistani conglomerate. Under his leadership, Liberty Mills has become one of the top five home textiles exporters in Pakistan.
Founded in 1964, the vertically integrated manufacturer operates one of the largest textile processing facilities in the region, producing 500,000 square meters of fabric daily and exporting finished home textiles products to the U.S., UK, Europe, and Australia. Mukaty is intent on making Liberty the top-rated green manufacturing facility in South Asia.
The company has pioneered Pakistan’s first integrated hybrid clean energy system combining solar and wind power, already supplying 100 megawatts to the national grid, and holds Platinum LEED certification. Liberty Mills is also SBTi-validated for its net-zero carbon commitment.
