Laurent Arnone is Senior Advisor, Collective Action – Apparel and Textiles at the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), where he leads the organisation’s strategy and collective action initiatives across the sector.
With nearly 15 years of experience spanning business, academia and social sustainability, Laurent specialises in advancing human rights in global supply chains through collaboration between businesses, trade unions, civil society and other stakeholders. His work focuses on translating international human rights standards, particularly the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), into practical action.
At ETI, he has led several of the organisation’s responses to major supply-chain crises, including the military coup in Myanmar, Bangladesh’s political transition and, more recently, devastating floods across South Asia. Through this work, he brings together diverse stakeholders to address complex challenges and explore how collective action can contribute to more responsible, resilient and sustainable supply chains.
