ReFuels

Jasper Nillesen is an Executive Director of ReFuels  one of the leading specialists in sourcing and supplying biomethane for transport in Europe. ReFuels is in the sweet spot of the biomethane supply chain from upstream biomethane sourcing based in The Hague (The Netherlands) to downstream distribution to Heavy Goods Vehicles via our growing network of CNG stations based in the United Kingdom. Jasper has 15+ years of experience in the Renewable Energy Sector. In 2016 he founded Refuels, a pioneer in the biomethane industry.

He started his professional career in consultancy after his master’s degree in Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology. After almost 10 years of consultancy, Jasper switched to the energy sector and held a variety of positions. He started to work for the energy company RWE at M&A projects. At RWE’s subsidiary Powerhouse he started Powerhouse Belgium. Jasper then became director B2B sales at RWE-Essent. In 2014, Jasper founded his first company, Renewable Energy Services to develop the international Biomethane market.

We started as a pioneer in the biomethane industry and have been shaping and creating unsupported biomethane for the transport market across Europe since 2014. We partner with, develop and structure the entire biomethane supply chain with all stakeholders, from well to wheel. We want to empower companies to switch to green, clean and sustainable fuel to play their part in reducing harmful emissions whilst reaping the benefits of our efficient, reliable and cost-effective service.
