Luc Beerens is the Global Sustainable Sourcing Director for Royal Canin, a division of Mars Petcare. With a career spanning over three decades at Mars, he has become a dedicated voice in corporate sustainability. After graduating from Eindhoven University with a Master’s in Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Luc joined Mars, Incorporated in 1993. He has extensive experience working across multiple segments, including Snacking, Food, Petcare and Corporate and encompassing key roles in procurement, quality management, logistics and sustainability giving him a comprehensive understanding of the entire value chain.
Stepping into his current role at Royal Canin in 2022, Luc works closely with procurement teams around the world to build resilient supply chains that deliver a positive impact on pets, people and the planet. He brings strong leadership and a steadfast commitment to driving change in sustainable development.
