As a Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory Senior Director, Hans leads Schneider Electric’s Cleantech Client Development team, providing strategic renewable energy advisory services to Fortune 500 clients. His team specializes in renewable energy strategy, offsite PPAs, supply chain renewables acceleration, and renewable energy investments for large corporate and industrial companies.
Hans is an expert in utility-scale PPAs, project finance, risk management, and corporate energy strategy. He has been instrumental in Schneider Electric’s rise as a leader in the corporate PPA market, overseeing transactions that have led to over 15,000 MW of new wind and solar installations globally. Hans has pioneered innovations like Schneider Electric’s Supply Chain Renewables programs and has supported corporations in becoming tax equity investors.
Hans has over 14 years of experience in renewable energy, with leadership roles in business development, project finance, and corporate strategy. He played a key role in the growth of Renewable Choice’s PPA advisory group, leading it to become the world’s top corporate PPA advisor after its acquisition by Schneider Electric. Hans is a recognized speaker at major industry events, including REBA, Greenbiz, and AWEA.
