Ovijit Mutsuddi serves as Head of the OSH Complaint Mechanism Unit and Internal Grievance Officer at the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC), where he leads the design and implementation of a large-scale worker grievance mechanism across Bangladesh’s ready-made garment sector. He oversees the intake, assessment, investigation, and remediation of complaints from over 2,000 factories, ensuring accessibility, confidentiality, procedural fairness, and timely corrective action.
With more than a decade of experience in investigations, whistleblowing systems, and compliance risk management, he brings a system-focused, worker-centered approach to grievance handling. His work emphasizes meaningful worker engagement, context-sensitive investigations, and practical remediation that strengthen accountability while responding to local labor realities and aligning with international standards.
