Carine Ahekpa

Carine Ahekpa works as a Technical Advisor for GIZ’s Sustainable Cocoa Initiative (SCI) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. An agricultural and agrifood engineer, she brings many years of experience in the cocoa sector across both the private industry and international organizations, with a strong track record in sustainability, certification, and standards. In her current role, she focuses on child labor, living income, the ARS 1000 standard, and compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
