Is society now expecting the end of single use plastics, is this even possible, and by when?

Clock icon 09:00 - 10:00
In this opening session, we'll look at what may be expected - and required - from companies on single use plastics in the next five years.

Removing them will be a monumental challenge, and will have major consequences not foreseen by consumers and the media. We'll debate the R&D challenges, likely trends and timelines. We’ll also discuss whether companies will need to set absolute reduction targets AND get a lot better at explaining the reality of alternative materials, their impact and the cost ramifications.
