John is an accomplished performance textile professional with a 36 year multi-functional tenure holding a variety of positions in production management, product development, sales management, quality assurance, marketing, and international sourcing.  

He has extensive insight into how the industry has evolved from the supply side perspective and what it takes to grow new innovations. Working with manufacturers and technology innovators supplying products to apparel, footwear, and accessory brands, John has brought material innovations brands across multiple end-use markets. 

With academic degrees in management and manufacturing design, John specializes in translating technology into useful solutions for manufacturers and brands alike. He has joined the Swiss material science company Livinguard Technologies and supports the adoption of the company’s game-changing portfolio of sustainable chemistries for the textile industry.   

He lives north of Boston with his wife Mary, a professional swim team coach, and his family. He enjoys all outdoor pursuits – although having been an accomplished distance runner, skiing, running and road biking are his go-to activities these days.
