René Groot Bruinderink has held several leadership positions in global management consulting, sustainability advisory, and the energy industry. René has guided large corporations and multinationals on their energy transition and sustainability journeys. Main areas of expertise are: Firstly on Energy Transition & Sustainability. Secondly on the supply and demand side of the Voluntary Carbon Markets. Finally on Strategic Leadership and Thought Leadership around Net-Zero Business strategies and the usage of Biofuels. In his current Role René manages the Carbon Management Division at FincoEnergies which focuses on transportation-based insetting.
