A current trend amongst businesses across industries is a shift towards radical transparency in company supply chains. In the apparel sector for example, 42 out of the largest 100 fashion brands disclosed supplier information in 2017.
This trend is a significant step change in the level of disclosure expected of businesses. But with so many brands sharing supply chain data, what is the best way to leverage this information? And how far can we expect corporate transparency to go in the coming years?
In this session we’ll discuss:
What should brands be doing with the large amounts of supplier data now available to them?
How should brands incorporate new levels of disclosure into their human rights reporting?
What level of disclosure is expected of brands now? How is this likely to evolve in the next few years?
